Congratulations to Amine on defending his PhD

Amine’s thesis, titled “Flexural Strengthening of Steel Structures with Externally Adhesively Bonded Carbon and Flax Composite Patches: Mechanical Performance and Water Ageing Effects”, delivers significant contributions to structural engineering, particularly in the development of sustainable and high-performance repairing techniques for steel structures. Throughout his journey, it has been a real pleasure to have Amine on our team. We had the opportunity to work closely with him both at TU Delft | Aerospace Engineering and at IDMEC in Instituto Superior Técnico, and we truly appreciated his dedication, scientific rigour, and collaborative spirit.
